It was billed as "the game of the year" in college football: two unbeaten teams, the number-one Miami Hurricanes against number-two Alabama for the 1992 National Championship. Featured is coach Gene Stallings, who brought the Crimson Tide back to a national prominence and recognition enjoyed by Alabama that until then, only Bear Bryant had been able to achieve. In the background on the Superdome's Diamond Vision screen is Derrick Lassic, the game's MVP and George Teague's incredible strip of Lamar Thomas.

Not only did Alabama win the Sugar Bowl but the play also secured the school's tenth national championship, the fifth under legendary coach Paul "Bear" Bryant.

In the 1985 Iron Bowl Alabama trailed Auburn by a point with six seconds left. With the ball spotted on Auburn's 37 yard line Van Tiffin kicked a 52 yard field goal that would give Alabama a 25-23 win over archrival Auburn. As told on his website, Daniel Moore watched the ball sail over the crossbar from his seat and told his father later that it would be the subject of his next painting.

Playing in one of the most hostile environments in college football, The Swamp, Alabama was looking for a way to win in overtime in Gainesville. Turning to their leaders, Alabama's Shaun Alexander and Chris Samuels worked togethre to produce a 20 yard run that would seal the 40-39 win over Florida and the ol' ball coach on October 2nd, 1999!
